History

Way back in the dark ages of grade school, I wrote several amateur short stories and novels (find them in the More section). I even drew a few comics back in the day.

Destalis started out in 1992 as a 365-page handwritten story entitled Crystalia that nearly filled two 5-subject notebooks. I was about thirteen years old at the time. In January of 2004, a couple years after graduating college, I decided to take Crystalia and mold it into a real novel. Then in December 2008, I took a story I began in 1996 during my senior year of high school, Beyond Cloud Nine, and molded it into my second novel.

Throughout it all, I've been a member of a couple different writing groups and read tons of books on writing. I hope to start getting the works located on this site published in the near future.
